International Remittance

To receive international money transfers in your MonCash account, you need to be a MonCash Plus user (limit 100,000HTG). If you do not have a MonCash Plus account, you can use the MonCash app or visit select Digicel stores and apply for one.

To become a MonCash Plus user with the app:

1. Open your MonCash App
2. From the Home screen tap on the ‘Account’ icon
3. Look for the “Upgrade" button next to ‘MonCash Account’
4. Tap on Upgrade
5. After you’ll have to specific some personal data
6. You’ll need to verify your identity by taking a selfie and taking a picture of your ID

After sending all your information, your account will be upgraded to MonCash Plus within 72 hours (approximately 3 business days). Once you have MonCash Plus, you'll need to authorize our partner, PRISM Transfer, to deposit money into your MonCash account. If you haven't done so already, follow these steps to opt in:

Phone Menu:

1. Dial *202#
2. Select option 6: "Financial Services"
3. Choose to Opt-in by selecting Option 1: International Money Transfer

MonCash App:

1. Log in to your MonCash app and follow the instructions on the main screen to authorize our partners.
